Hours and Payroll: Why You Should Be on Top of Your Hours Every Week?

As we mentioned in previous newsletters our company is growing, and this means we have a lot of employees.  Recently we’ve had some issues with employees saying that their hours do not match their checks.

  • Reasons why this happens:
  • -You were asked to do an extra job, and you did not remind your supervisor of your extra hours by Monday.
  • -Not clocking in, and/or clocking in inaccurately.
  • -Getting the days when you worked confused.

Things you can do to avoid paycheck discrepancies:

  • -Keep track of your hours, have a log of all the hours you worked for the week.
  • -Give your supervisor a time sheet every week by Monday (Payroll is done by Tuesday).

If you are missing hours on your paycheck, you should:

  • -Contact your supervisor before speaking to the office.  Your supervisor will know about your schedule and any extra jobs you did better than the office.  The supervisors provide the office with employee hours every week, so they will be able to write in those missed hours for the next week’s payroll.

  • -Starting soon supervisors will hand you a weekly time, so you can write down all of your hours and you must give it to them by Monday. Not handing them in on Monday means that the extra hours might not have the time to be included in this week’s payroll.   It is your job to make sure that you have given the supervisor your hours because at the end of the day they are your hours.

  • •-upewnij się ze masz ID numer i ze prawidłowo się logujesz

  • •-Skontaktuj się ze swoim przełożonym zanim skontaktujesz się z biurem Twój przełożony będzie znal twój  harmonogram pracy i wszelkie zmiany.
